Profound Implementation

As we embark on 2017, we will look back at 2014-2016 as the years of profound implementation of single-use (SU) bioprocess technologies. The seeds of Bioprocess-Technology-Future that were planted from 2010 to 2014 are now Bioprocess-Technology Present and have given rise to the branches that are growing into commercialization. Many customers chose to wait for others to take early risks and are now boldly going where several others have already gone. In the words of author Charles Dickens, “An idea, like a ghost, must be spoken to a little before it will explain itself”. The ideas of SU and the operational/regulatory challenges encountered grew significantly over the last few years and the solutions are finally growing smarter through experience and applied user feedback.
