IPS is pleased to announce the promotion of Mr. Tom Chapman as Vice President of Construction - Americas. In his new role, Mr. Chapman will lead construction management operations and act as an innovation agent of IPS’ capital delivery process.
Mr. Chapman joined IPS nearly a year ago and has since reinforced IPS’ capability and commitment to providing business solutions to clients beyond lean, integrated services. As a subject matter expert in lean project delivery, he supports the enhancement of IPS’ corporate EPCMV processes, tools, and delivery methodologies with a continued focus on safety, quality, and sustainability.
“Tom is a proven leader in the engineering and construction industry and is a valuable member of the IPS leadership team,” said Mark Butler, IPS President and Managing Director– Americas. “His involvement in industry organizations such as International Society for Pharmaceutical Engineering (ISPE), Lean Construction Institute (LCI), and Construction Users Roundtable (CURT) exemplifies the type of influential knowledge leaders that is representative of our organization.”
Mr. Chapman brings approximately 30 years of experience in engineering, procurement and construction management related to biopharmaceutical manufacturing, life sciences R&D, and power generation projects. He has successfully delivered projects throughout the United States and Puerto Rico as well as projects in Ireland, Argentina, and Singapore. His innovative approach aligned with IPS’ corporate vision, will continue to enrich the strategic direction and growth of the organization.
