Blue Bell, Pennsylvania, & Dublin, Ireland, May 21, 2020 – IPS-Integrated Project Services, LLC, a leading provider of engineering, procurement, construction management, and validation (EPCMV) services, is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Kevin Smyth to the position of Global Director of Process Technology.

Mr. Smyth, an industry-recognized subject matter expert based in IPS’ Dublin, Ireland office, will help lead the growth of the company’s Global Strategy and Technology (GS&T) group in the EMEA region. He is a chartered chemical engineer with 30 years’ experience in the design and operation of biopharmaceutical manufacturing facilities.

He has led over a hundred large molecule biologics, vaccines, and sterile fill-finish projects, from master planning, feasibility studies through detailed design. He is an expert in facility design and technology evaluation, including biological and high potent containment in a CGMP production environment.  

Mr. Smyth has worked as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on significant pharmaceutical projects across an ever-evolving regulatory compliance landscape. Clients he has supported include Allergan, Amgen, Abbott, Allergan, AbbVie, Bayer, Biocon, BMS, CSL, Eli Lilly, GE, MSD, Merck, Novartis, Pfizer, Sanofi, Takeda, and WuXi.
