IPS announces the appointment of Mr. Mark Marlowe as Director of Projects, based in IPS’ European head office in Birmingham, UK. Mr. Marlowe is an established Project Executive in the pharmaceutical industry and possesses approximately thirty (30) years of experience delivering complex projects for major multi-national companies in the UK and Western Europe.
Mr. Marlowe is highly regarded for his project management expertise by delivering numerous successful projects for pharmaceutical companies including AstraZeneca, GSK, and Novartis. Before joining IPS, Mr. Marlowe held a senior leadership position with PM Group. During his tenure, he played an instrumental role in the significant growth of their UK office. As an accomplished Project Manager, Mr. Marlowe acts in the best interest of the client to achieve cost, schedule, and quality objectives, while managing high performing teams through all phases of a project, from concept, scheme, detailed design, construction, and validation.
Mr. Marlowe also brings a wealth of project controls experience which will advance IPS’ European project delivery capability. He is passionate about developing client relationships as a key part of successful project delivery and has acted as project sponsor on many large projects.
Mr. Marlowe holds a 1st Class Honours in a Bachelor of Engineering Degree in Electrical Engineering from Staffordshire University, UK and is a chartered engineer. Mr. Marlowe’s engineering background has provided a strong foundation for his role as Project Manager, and he regularly chairs project reviews, design reviews, and design co-ordination reviews.
