UK Modern Slavery Act 2015
Modern Slavery Act 2015 Statement
For the year ending 31/12/2026
1. Introduction
This statement is made on behalf of IPS-Integrated Project Services, LLC and its subsidiaries, including IPS-Integrated Project Services Limited (IPS) pursuant to section 54(1) of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and constitutes our modern slavery and human trafficking statement for the year ending 31/12/2026.
IPS is a global leader in the application of single-source, integrated services for technically complex facilities. As a company operating across Europe, we are committed to upholding the highest standards of ethical conduct and integrity. We have a zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery and human trafficking and are dedicated to ensuring that these practices do not occur within our business or our supply chains.
2. Our Business and Organisational Structure
IPS-Integrated Project Services Limited is a company registered in the UK, with a regional headquarters in Birmingham and an office in Manchester. Our EMEA operations extend across multiple countries, with strategic offices located in the United Kingdom, Ireland, Switzerland, Germany, and Denmark. Our services are focused on delivering technically complex projects for clients in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and medical device industries.
Our organisational structure includes a global network of offices and professionals who collaborate to deliver projects. Our EMEA operations, in particular, engage with a wide range of suppliers, sub-contractors, and partners, making our supply chain diverse and complex.
3. Our Policies on Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking
Our commitment to combating modern slavery is embedded in our corporate policies and values. These include:
Code of Business Conduct and Ethics: This code sets out the principles of integrity, respect, and fairness that all employees and business partners are expected to uphold. It explicitly prohibits forced, compulsory, or child labour.
Supplier Code of Conduct: We require all of our business partners and suppliers to adhere to our Supplier Code of Conduct, which outlines our standards for ethical labour practices, including the prohibition of modern slavery.
Whistleblowing Policy: We maintain a robust whistleblowing policy that provides a safe and confidential mechanism for employees and external parties to report any concerns related to illegal or unethical conduct, including modern slavery, without fear of retaliation.
4. Due Diligence and Risk Assessment
IPS employs a risk-based approach to identify and mitigate the risk of modern slavery in our operations and supply chains across EMEA. Our due diligence processes include:
- Geographical and Sectoral Risk Assessment: We assess risks based on the geographical locations in which we operate and source, as well as the nature of the services being provided. We pay particular attention to higher-risk regions and sectors where the risk of exploitation is known to be greater.
- Supply Chain Vetting: As part of our procurement process, we conduct due diligence on new and existing suppliers, particularly those providing labour or materials for our construction and project delivery services. This can include self-assessment questionnaires, ethical audits, and reviewing certifications.
- Contractual Protections: Our contracts with suppliers and sub-contractors include specific clauses requiring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, including those related to human trafficking and modern slavery.
5. Training and Awareness
We believe that effective training is crucial to ensuring our employees understand the risks of modern slavery and their role in preventing it. Our training programs are tailored to different roles within the company, with a particular focus on those in procurement, human resources, and project management. The training aims to equip employees with the knowledge to:
- Recognise the signs of modern slavery.
- Understand the legal and ethical obligations of IPS.
- Know how to report any concerns confidentially.
6. Our Performance and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
We monitor our progress in combating modern slavery using the following key performance indicators:
- Percentage of high-risk suppliers who have been screened and audited for compliance with our ethical standards.
- Number of employees who have completed mandatory training on modern slavery.
- Number of reports or concerns raised through our whistleblowing channels related to modern slavery, and the outcomes of any investigations.
- The time taken to investigate and resolve any identified instances of non-compliance.
7. Future Steps
We are committed to continuous improvement in our efforts to combat modern slavery. In the upcoming year, we plan to:
- Strengthen our supplier audit program
- Further integrate our due diligence processes to ensure a consistent and robust approach across all our EMEA offices.
- Increase employee and sub-contractor engagement on the issue through targeted awareness campaigns.
This statement is approved by the EMEA Directors of IPS-Integrated Project Services Limited.
