Join Kevin Schreier as he presents on the delivering projects at warp speed as part of the PDA Annual Meeting's poster presentation series.
In the face of the global pandemic, the pharmaceutical industry has needed to modify and truncate the standard execution strategies and stage gates in the capital project life cycle to align with the “Warp Speed” mindset to provide lifesaving medicine to the world.
Some time-saving techniques include an abridged procurement philosophy, leveraging of trusted and known contractors, utilizing standard vendor equipment, and modified levels of design documentation.
The poster presentation will illustrate the learned experiences associated with active "warp speed" capital projects, which are in various stages of completion, and will show solutions and philosophies to consider when trying to expedite a capital project. The lessons learned will include modular solutions constructed off-site, vendor management techniques, interactive planning and scheduling, and streamlined CQV strategies that are not only critical to the execution of these "warp speed" projects but are techniques that can be leveraged as the industry evolves.
Poster presentations can be viewed throughout the duration of the conference.
