IPS is exhibiting at booth 203 at the ISPE Facilities of the Future Conference. This conference will explore advancements in pharmaceutical technology and what pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities will look like in the future. Featuring technical and inspirational presentations from industry leaders already planning and building “facilities of the future” this conference will look at new manufacturing challenges, technologies, and regulatory factors impacting the ability of today’s companies to stay competitive and cost-effective. Speed to market is often a key requirement in project delivery but even more so with the COVID19 pandemic, and so facility design and project execution approaches that focus on meeting this element will also be covered.
The conference will look at both new and legacy pharmaceutical facilities as both must be efficient and CGMP compliant while adopting emerging technologies to improve drug quality. We would also like to explore the impact of disruptive technologies and Pharma 4.0, highly automated processes using the Internet of Things (IoT), Artificial Intelligence (AI), robotics, advanced analytics, the use of digital twins, and machine learning. Additionally, facility designs that embrace the attributes of facilities of the future such as adaptability and flexibility will be included, with a particular emphasis on single-use, regenerative medicines, and drug product facilities.
This program will bring together diverse experts to share best practices and benchmark solutions for new and existing facilities.
