Process Engineer

IPS has one of the best Process teams in the AE industry and is growing. We are looking add to our team and have Bioprocess Engineer opportunities for someone that has experience executing engineering/design projects in the Biotech industry. We have a specific need for mid-level candidates with upstream and downstream cell culture process experience along with strong interpersonal and client management skills.
Job Duties and Responsibilities

Holds primary responsibility for developing bioprocess PIDs, material balances, process simulation and process equipment specifications.

Ensures achievement of corporate goals for assigned projects.

Manages client interaction on assigned projects and promotes positive repeat relationships.

Identifies risks to project and corporation and works with Project Executives and Director of Operations to mitigate risks.

Coordinates with other project discipline leads to plan scope, complexity, and scheduling requirements of the projects.

Develops and maintains equipment lists.

Enhances and facilitates project team communication and coordination.

Must have the ability to run multiple simultaneous projects.

Maintains personal competency in relevant professional areas and is looking to grow into a process expert through dedication and continuous improvement.

Actively assists in design process budget development.

Develops and maintains long-term industry relationships including client relationship and account development.

Assists in identifying, and developing innovative methods for improving processes and techniques.

3D design and experience with Single Use systems preferred.

Willingness to periodically cross train with our Construction Management and Compliance Divisions

Any applicable travel is project related - less than 10%

Other duties as assigned.
Candidate Qualifications

A minimum of 3 years industry experience as a bioprocess engineer.

Bachelor’s degree in engineering.

Progressive ability, capacity, and aptitude to plan, organize, supervise, and coordinate technical work and to obtain cooperation from others.

High level of creativity.

Excellent communications skills.
-
Analytical thinking, structured problem solving skills, team building and strong work ethic. Must be able to build report with project staff.

Skilled in the use of CAD and MS Office programs.

Promotes Safety and adheres to IPS and client Safety policies.
